Ray Bans bypassing Do Not Disturb on iOS

Hi folks,

New owner here. Got a pair of Meta Ray Ban Gen 2 Wayfarers - which I'm really enjoying. 

I am, however, having an issue with message notifications. I'm wondering if anyone can help me?

I have notifications turned on, within the Meta AI app, for Whatsapp and iMessage. These are super handy, but my issue is that even when I put on 'Do Not Disturb' mode on my iPhone (running iOS 26.1) I still get the "Message received" notifications on my glasses. 

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a toggle somewhere I'm missing?

    We understand that you'd like to stop your glasses from announcing when you have received a message when your phone is in 'Do Not Disturb'.' 

     

    Not to worry, this feature can be turned off. For more information how to do this, please see the following link.

      Thanks for the reply, but the article doesn't really answer my question. 

      I'm aware I can turn announcements on and off for each application, but surely I shouldn't have to do this? Surely notifications should abide by the phone's 'Do Not Disturb' status?
