Update: It's even doing it with the glasses off of my face sitting on a table.

We would love to help you out further with this issue. Could you please try updating the firmware just incase during the initial setup something went wrong.
To update the glasses firmware:
In the Meta AI App, tap the Glasses icon
If you have multiple devices paired with the Meta AI mobile app, swipe left or right to select the device you want to use
Tap Settings
Tap Updates
If the issue persists please come talk to us privately and we can look into other options.
