RHS audio not working and cracking on left after update

Last night i used my glasses in the car on a call totally fine, put them on charge and im pretty sure they did an update. 

Today i go to use them. the RHS speaker is not working, the left, plays the "beeps and tones" totally fine, like the boot sound the 'hay meta' response sound ect, but any speaking is crackly like the sound a broken speaker makes. 

I have done a hard reboot and a factory reset

Still same issue.

also when i call myself, and answer the call (other phone) my voice on the other end now sounds like a robot,  and on my glasses i just cant hear anything but some static crackles.

 'It feels' like a firmware or software bug and i cant find a way to re-flash them other than the factory reset..
