Hey phongeer
We can see that the issue you're having is getting past the "Share Additional Data" screen, this can be far from ideal and we would love to provide some troubleshooting steps for you! Please try the follow steps below:
Fully Charge the Glasses: Make sure the glasses are charged to 100% before attempting setup.Force Restart the Glasses : Place them in the case, close the lid, then press and hold the button on the back of the case until the LED flashes blue.
Reinstall the Meta AI App: Delete the app completely, restart your phone, and reinstall the latest version from the App Store.
Try a Different Device : If possible, try pairing the glasses using another iOS or Android device to see if the issue persists.
Enable All App Permissions : Go to iPhone Settings → Meta AI → ensure Bluetooth, Location, and Notifications are all enabled.
Please let us know how this goes for you!

Ok I think I just found a weird workaround. I factory reset the glasses then screen mirrored my phone to my tv and poof it worked. The comment to scroll down all the way has had me thinking for days and this just popped in my head.

I am not at home to mirror to the TV, I did try mirroring to my MacBook and that didn’t work for me. I will try the tv in a few days.

You. Are. A. Genius. I have no idea why or how that works but I just tried it (1 pair on my Apple TV and 2 on a Roku - just to see). That worked. I had to open and close out of the app a few times and update BUT it worked. Thank you!!!!

No problem, maybe Meta will send me a gift card for their store or something. I have been trouble shooting this thing for days 😂.

I’m also on the iOS 26 beta iPhone 15PM. RB 2gen. This is it… I screen mirrored to an Apple TV . It didn’t work the first time so I force quit the meta ai app and tried to screen share again. The continue button then became available to tap. Going to share link to this thread. News outlets should grab this soon.

You def saved them some money! I took a screenshot of the solve and sent to their email support team too. Perhaps you’ll get 2 gift cards. lol

Maybe they should send everyone a free TV that is compatible with screen mirroring 😁.

Same issue, no problem on IPad Pro, but won’t able to complete the setup for IPad Pro 16 with IOS 26.1. Spent many hours to repeat the installation process and Meta support, but no success.

Problem solved, connect my IPhone via HDMI to TV, then the last step “ Done “ button can be clicked.

Yeah, Support for Oakley and Meta were ZERO help. All you need is a TV that supports Casting, Screen Sharing, Mirroring or whatever it's called on your TV. Don't worry about unpairing or any of that other stuff.
On your phone
- Close the Meta AI app
- Swipe down from the upper right corner of your phone's screen to the Control Center
- Select the "Screen Mirroring Icon"
- Select the TV
- Tap the screen to close the mirroring window
- Tap again to close the Control Center
- Open The Meta AI App
- Tap "Finish Setup" on your glasses
This should get you back to the Share Additional Info page, and the button should be activated.
If this does not activate the buttons do the following:
- Don't close the Meta AI app but swiping up from the bottom to the home screen
- Tap away from the stacked apps
- Open the Meta AI app again
- This will take you back to the Share Additional Info page again and the buttons should be activated.

I finally got them working after several hard resets and many hours later.
