Touch panel completely dead on Oakley Meta HSTN (Hardware failure)
I’m having a major issue with my Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses (Model 01Q6) that I bought about 3 months ago. The touch panel on the right arm has completely stopped working. It doesn't register any taps or swipes at all.
I’ve already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps: cleaning the sensors, hard rebooting, doing a full Factory Reset, and even letting the battery drain completely to 0% before recharging it. Nothing worked.
During the initial setup in the Meta AI app, the panel still wouldn't respond. I was able to skip the interactive touch tutorial, but I am now left with glasses that have zero touch functionality.
Has anyone else experienced this exact hardware issue where the panel just dies? Is a warranty replacement my only option at this point? Any help is appreciated!
