Unable to connect Oakley vanguard to strava/garmin

I’ve read through us the other issues, but I can’t find a fix to mine. I have deleted everything and re-downloaded it, made sure all my emails were the same and did everything in the USA. Apple health, Strava, Garmin all do not show up in my app connections after clicking the gear on my glasses. I have wiped everything and I reached out to meta email support and they said it was an issue with Strava AND Garmin, but I’ve reached out to both of them and they claim it is a Meta glasses issue. Nothing shows in app connections except music apps.

  • Go to your phone app settings and check permissions.

Meta needs permission for "nearby devices" and "read an write health data" and also the health Connect link.

You have to give that permissions in order that everything works properly.

Check for Bluetooth updates also and restart your phone and the glasses.

Submit the issue by shaking your phone in the Meta AI-App.

Hopefully that will help you to solve this issue.

Thank you for this info. While opening up the Meta app settings I don’t have any of these options even available. I have created a ticket in the Meta app and they just sent me through the reset procedures which I did and then told me it was an issue with Strava and Garmin.

Not in the Meta AI-App settings but the general App permissions on your phone.

        Physical activity

        Nearby devices

        Health fitness and wellness

These are the permissions you want to activate.
