vanguard message failure

my glasses when i ask meta to send a message 50 percent of the time it crashes and makes beeping noises trying to think and fail. while im asking meta to send a message to instagram it fails 100 percent of the time. its asking me who i want to send it to when i already told it to send it to a group on instagram. i want to return these glasses or trade it for meta raybans those glasses are more reliable but the battery on vanguards last me a while. ive already unbinded did a factory reset and did a hard reset its not fixing it. i have a feeling the last update kind of screwed it up
