Is that the only option , I would challenge meta to think differently on this finding , also a glasses pair is not a phone and this answer makes me ask few other questions and thus prevents me in buying Rayban glasses in bulk from Meta store.

I guess Meta could turn the perfomance way down to save on battery life, but that's obviously going to impact the user experience. If you are planing to buy in bulk you presumably have some commercial or educational purpose in mind so you might want to review that purpose and adapt it to the reality of the available headsets.

Yeah — it would be INCREDIBLE if the glasses even lasted the four hours they claim!
I’ve had my pair for a couple weeks. If you actually use the built in features offered, like taking photos, videos, or engaging with meta ai, it lasts maybe a half hour tops from right out of the case charged 100%.
They are definitely being returned to the store because tech lovers like my self actually want to use the product, not just have a good looking pair of glasses that has the “ability” to utilize these features resulting in a dead battery in 20 minutes.
