Eve Valkyrie Update & Controller

After the update yesterday, the controller buttons are unresponsive in the game and only the 'home' button works, which is the only way of closing the game.  Anybody else experiencing this or is it just me?  Anybody know a fix for this?  I did a google search and there are some posts on the official site from march and april about the game window not being in focus and to just left click the mouse inside the window but that issue does not pertain to me.

    exactly the same problem here, although for me it is with Elite Dangerous.

    The Update for EVE (Carrier Assault) downloads but doesn't install - OVRLibraryService.txt give the error message: "Error decrypting: error:04067072:rsa routines:RSA_EAY_PUBLIC_DECRYPT:padding check failed"
