It displays "Looks like we can't reach the Oculus server. Please check your connection.". I'm in China. Does Oculus limit the countries/regions which can connect to server.

After fighting this issue for weeks on multiple systems and trying every single possible fix, I finally figured out the solution:1) Very carefully disconnect your Oculus equipment from your computer.2) Place it in the box it originally came in.3) Throw the hunk of crap in the nearest dumpster where it belongs.4) Get an HTC Vive.5) Enjoy state of the art VR provided by a company that has a phone number, a product that actually works, and a staff that actually cares.

Just had this issue today. For me the problem was that i didnt have enough space free on my c drive, but it still gives the "cant connect" error. You need ~5G free

I've been on with customer support for a while with this issue. I've changed the hosts file disabled the firewall, flushed the DNS cache, whitelisted the program on my antivirus, disabled my antivirus, run as administrator, reinstalled my NIC card driver, updated all of my existing drivers, tried running it in compatibility mode. None of these things work. Seriously pissed right now!

two years on and the same problem seems to exist, still no fixes? I purchased and installed the rift a month or so ago, and for a few weeks installation and running was fine, but then it stopped allowing me to download any more VR apps. Support asked me to uninstall everything which now means that i cannot download the app let alone games!i have over 13G free on C: and 12G on E: for the apps

it's definitely not a regional problem: had the same issue here in NYC.
Turning off Windows firewall solved the problem for me. Running windows 10.

Thank you for replying. My case is due to DNS cache pollution. I modified "hosts" file to solve the problem.

Add "31.13.95.61 graph.oculus.com" to the end of "hosts" file.

I am having the same problem. still can't reach the oculus server after I cleaned the dns, modified the hosts file, turned off the firewall....
