Accessibility: Text Narration
I am a legally blind user. I can see, but my vision is extremely poor. Even with corrective lenses, I will never see 20/20. More and more games are making text harder to read, by both making it smaller, but also making it dynamic (meaning that even if you move towards it, the text stays a constant distance from you).
it would be nice if maybe there was an option to have text read aloud when you are looking at the text. Or maybe while pointing at it with a controller.

Agreed. If there is any overlaid text on the screen/in the environment, it should be required to have it optionally read aloud. It could be more challenging to do this with text that is 'baked into' the environment etc.
OP is correct in calling out developers for making text less legible as the high-end headsets gain more resolution, making it 'easier to read small text'. All content approved for the Meta marketplace should have baseline accessibility functionality such as larger text, screen-reading abilities, and more.
Meta might need to re-assess their baseline accessibility requirements, because as far as I can see there isn't even a reference to described audio as an option.
