Cannot create a PWA application
Hello,
I want to publish a PWA application.
I want to follow this documentation : https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/web/pwa-submit-app/
But i don't have the checkbox "This is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) 🤔
When i try to upload my APK
> ovr-platform-util upload-quest-build
I have an error :
ERROR: Validation identified the following errors:
Application is not configured as a progressive web application, but the AndroidManifest.xml contains the following PWA specific meta-data:
com.oculus.pwa.START_URL, com.oculus.pwa.SCOPE, com.oculus.pwa.NAME, com.oculus.pwa.APPID, com.oculus.pwa.SHORT_NAME, com.oculus.pwa.DESCRIPTION, com.oculus.pwa.LANG, com.oculus.pwa.BACKGROUND_COLOR, com.oculus.pwa.THEME_COLOR, com.oculus.pwa.DISPLAY, com.oculus.pwa.DEVELOPER, com.oculus.pwa.ICONS, com.oculus.pwa.CATEGORIES
Please see https://ocul.us/3uALYuK for more details on creating PWA applications, or remove these attributes and try again.
Thanks

I am having the same issue, could you solve it?

The PWA option didn't show for me until I selected "Quest (Store)" or "Quest (App Lab)".

Hello!
I don't have the option for Quest (Store), and when I select Quest (App Lab), the option PWA is not there.
Maybe my account is too new? I created it yesterday.
This is what I see.

I'm not saying it's not happening, but in that screenshot you haven't selected AppLab yet. 😉

Nothing there 🙁

Per this page:
"We’re excited to announce that all developers will be able to distribute PWAs via App Lab in the coming months. We’ll share more on when and how you can submit a PWA to App Lab soon."
Looks like they are not yet available to all developers. ☹️

I saw that message, but I think it was somewhat confusing because it doesn't say any date at all.
I will assume that is the case.
Thanks!

I didn't quite understand, some have access to the button and others don't?
Anyway, in my case, I tried everything and I can never declare my PWA - Anonymous
I'm also facing the same issue.

Hi guys, any update on this? I'm facing the same issue here and the "This is a PWA" option is nowhere to be found ...

Same problem here - any progress?

I would like to know this as well.
The support page: https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/web/pwa-submit-app/
mentions I should get in contact with my "Meta Quest Account owner" to get access to publishing PWAs.
Who is that supposed to be?
I am part of a verified organization and have admin privileges on the https://developer.oculus.com/ dashboard, but I can't find any option to enable this or contact somebody about it. - berrygHonored Guest
Any new information on this? I'm dealing with the same issue. The PWA check option is not shown when I try to publish my PWA APK to Meta Quest Developer Hub.
My account was created recently, and I used the admin verification for the time being.
I would be grateful for any assistance.
