I'm not able to create meta developer account
Can anyone help me to create aa developer account ...
when i try to create it, it keep saying in a pop up...
This is because we noticed you are using a device you don't usually use and we need to keep your account safe. We'll allow you to make this change after you've used this device for a while.

Has there been any resolution to this?
Seems like its a common issue and one which has been around for a long time. In my case
1) If I try to change my email from Create a Meta for Developers > Review Email I get error "Email cannot be sent. Please try later"
2) If I simply try and confirm my email to continue I get error "Unexpected error, please try again later."
3) If I try and update the email from within Account Center I get the following
" You can't make this change at the moment This is because we noticed you are using a device you don't usually use and we need to keep your account safe. We'll allow you to make this change after you've used this device for a while."
this despite trying from my phone and computer both of which I have been using daily for over 4 years!

Did it end up working for you?

Hey!That message usually means Meta (Facebook) is flagging your device as unfamiliar or suspicious, and it's a security measure to protect your account. Here's what you can try to get around it:
Steps to Try:
Use a Familiar Device & Network
Try logging in from a device and network (Wi-Fi) you've used before with your Facebook account — ideally your personal laptop or phone, not a public or VPN network.
Wait It Out
The message says "after you've used this device for a while" — usually this means you need to keep logging into Facebook from that same device over a few days so they start trusting it.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Go to Facebook > Settings > Security and Login, and set up 2FA. This might improve your account’s trust level and reduce security flags.
Verify Your Identity
Make sure your Facebook account is fully verified — real name, profile picture, mobile number, email, etc. Sometimes incomplete profiles get blocked from developer access.
Avoid VPNs/Proxies
If you’re using a VPN, disable it. Meta is sensitive to IP changes when dealing with developer or business accounts.
Try a Different Browser
Some users have found success switching to another browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) or clearing cookies and cache.
Still Not Working? If none of that helps, try reaching out via the Meta Support Portal

Hey James, has this poblem occurred to you at all?
If so what was the exact step you took. I'm almost done with my SaaS and need this to work before finishing. I've had this Facebook account for over 5 years, tried everything you've said and still the same response.
Id appreciate if you can help me out further. Thank You

you must use the 2 stages identification (email and phone for strong security) before finishing the subscription

this is not all you have to do, you must use your phone to activate the developper mode , install meta horizon on your android phone and connect to headset from there and from options or whatelse slide down and when you see dev.mode activate it, but before all this did you get the approvement from meta ? its not always immediate, sometimes you must wait 1 or 2 days antil getting the approv

Hey!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Just to add, sometimes Meta’s approval process can indeed take a couple of days, especially for developer mode activation. Make sure you’ve installed Meta Horizon on your Android phone and properly connected your headset before trying to activate developer mode from there. Also, patience is key — if you’ve already verified your email and phone, wait 1-2 days after submitting for approval before trying again. Hope this helps! - jameswood32Protege
Hi!
I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when everything seems verified. One important step is to activate developer mode through the Meta Horizon app on your phone while your headset is connected. Also, keep in mind that Meta’s approval isn’t always instant — sometimes you need to wait a bit before access is granted. If you’ve done all this and still face issues, maybe try reaching out directly to Meta support for more personalized help. Good luck with your SaaS project!
