adb no devices found on mac

I have problems with my brand new Oculus Go.
When I want to list my connected devices via "adb devices" no devices are listed.
Already searched the forum but I only found answers to such a problem for windows users.
Because the solution was to install new windows usb drivers I could not adapt the solution to my mac environment.

I enabled Developer mode via the oculus rift.

I already tried:

• Rebooting the oculus and my mac
• reconnected the oculus a several times
• Dis-/enable Developer mode several times

For testing purpose i connected my galaxy s7 smartphone and it was successfully listet via "adb devices".

My Setup:

• Android Studio 3.1.3
• Java: 10.0.1
• macOS: 10.13.3

I installed adb togehter with android studio.
