Can you point To details On developing Avatar Clothing

Hello, I'm a developer and artist and I'd like to look into creating paid Avatar clothing that I see is now available in the configuration of your avatar.

However I cannot find any literature/tools or specs on doing this.

Can someone point in the right direction?
