Can't enable developer mode

No matter what I do it won't let me enable developer mode. I've done every step and when I click on the app or in the developer hub to enable it all it does is load for a second and won't enable. I have 10 headsets I've been unable to use for weeks because nothing will work.

  • Hey there,

Here's the steps I use for developer mode:

    • Open the Oculus app from your phone
    • Make sure Bluetooth is on (or it should give you a pop-up to activate it).
    • Once your desired device is connected, tap on it.
    • There should be an option that reads `Headset settings`, tap on it.
    • One of the available options should be `Developer Mode` and when you tap on it, you can activate developer mode.

I believe you need a developer account to go through this, although I'm not entirely sure.

There's also some developer-related settings on the Oculus Developer Hub, which might help further.

As afloofdev suggested, have you created a developer account on the Meta website? I believe they are correct that a developer account is required to enable it.
