well...this problem will be solved by updating MetaQuest2 to the latest update!!!!

I had the same problem as you after updating MetaQuest2 4-5 days ago. I asked the support center and he acknowledged there was a problem with developer mode and told me to wait for a solution I just discovered the latest update for MetaQuest2. Once I just got it up to date now, I was able to enable developer mode in the application and successfully build the application with MQDH (ex.ODH).
