How to access the wifi if the quest 2 is lock and I don't remember the pattern?

I want to unlock my quest 2 without doing the factory reset.

 

Can someone tell me if there is an option to switch on the wifi with the oculus link without losing data? 

I can't follow the reset pattern procedure with the wifi off. 

Any help would be appreciated.

    If you activated the Oculus cloud backup on the headset itself before, then the data of the app that are supported by cloud backup will still be there after you sync it again. See here: https://support.oculus.com/articles/in-vr-experiences/oculus-features/cloud-sync/

    The only way to reset the pattern if you forgot it is to do a factory reset sadly what I know at the moment, there was a way you could ask for a reset before via PIN but does not seem to work anymore

    Thank you! Without the wifi on, I can't do anything. Even the cloud option is not accessible. I was hoping to find a tutorial for local backdoor access via the developer hub app, but I did not find it yet.
