How to record gameplay footage from Oculus Go?

I am trying to record some footage of my game (on Oculus Go) but can't seem to find a satisfactory way of doing so.
I tried recording from the sharing menu, while recording the audio seperately on my PC via the headphone jack... but the framerate of the recorded video seems to be locked to the framerate of the game, and then averaged out, so the recorded audio doesn't synch with the video at all! (Especially as the FPS is still a little choppy on my dev build).
Does anybody have a special technique for getting decent video, with sound, from Oculus Go?

- For anyone stumbling onto this question, the current version of the built-in video recorder now also records audio. It's not that consistent though; sometimes it's out of sync, other times it's outright disabled.Additionally, there's a regression with the video recording itself. Now instead of being locked to the framerate, it's locked to half the framerate. An adb command should be able to set this back to full framerate, but it's currently broken.
