META Business Suite two-factor authentication
I'm being asked an authentication code, but the email is only asking whether it was me logging in. It is not going past the code screen

I call this 2FA hell. You need to talk to support and tell them asking for biometrics is an infringement of your privacy. Also your admin needs to set 2FA requirements settings to No One in settings.
