  • Same for me...

In the developer's hub, they just unlocked the option to use the cast 2.0 over WiFi. I have been at it all night, but my Quest 3 just refused to connect via WiFi. It works flawlessly when connected to cable, but an error pops up as soon as I disconnected it saying it can't refresh the data.

Obviously it's on the same Wifi network and all the various basic troubleshooting like restarting both the device and PC several times.

Does anyone else have this working? If so, are there any steps you can offer me to try?

Several people have told me this:

"As long as the ADB over Wi-Fi toggle stays on then you should be able to click the Beta Cast 2.0 button and then unplug your headset once the stream starts."

    But unfortunately it doesn't work.

And please, besides fixing this, can you add the headset microphone cast at the same time, thanks !

first screen is when the headset is connected via USB-C with ADB Wifi mode activated, it directly marks this, and when I remove the USB-C, the message remains the same, nothing happens

second screen is when the headset is not connected via USB-C, and I try to launch the Cast 2.0 wirelessly directly

  • You need to start casting with cable on and wireless adb on, change aspect ratio to cinematic. And only when the casting is started you can unplug cable.

That's what I did, screenshot to support it, but it still doesn't work unfortunately 😞
