Not receiving 2FA confirmation code via text to enable dev mode
As the title says I am not able to set up my two factor authentication code with my phone number because I simply do not receive anything via text message from Meta. I have tried my girlfriends phone number and she also receives nothing. We both have different carriers...
Is there any solution to this? I would really like to enable developer mode..
I have zero numbers blocked, I am receiving other automated texts just fine. Never had any problems with that, only with Meta.

Hello Justurion. We've received reports of other users experiencing similar issues. Our software team is currently working on a fix now. We do not yet have an estimated time, but as soon as it's ready it'll be sent out. If you could please keep an eye on this thread for future updates and developments on the issue. We hope to have this issue fixed asap.
Its still not working
I had the same issue and what I have discovered is that the text the Meta send isn't an SMS, it's an MMS. My MMS settings on my phone were not set up correctly for some reason. I fixed them and was able to receive the 2FA text again.
Test if you can send receive MMS by getting sending and getting sent a picture via messages (not iphone-to-iphone imessage).Having the same issue right now. What the hell is going on?
A fix for me at one point was finding out they send the initial 2FA text as an MMS, so you need to make sure you can receive MMS messages. It still doesn’t work reliably for me though.
How do you enable that on android?
