Oculus APP Startup disable

Why is the Meta Oculus software a virus basically? it's not shown in "Startup" on task manager so I can't disable it from automatically starting when I turn on my PC . theres no way to disable it from Startup in the oculus App either.. just some virus software basically huh meta? 🙂

    If you're on windows 11 press Windows+R and type services.msc and hit enter

    look for Oculus VR Runtime Service double click or go to properties and switch it to manual from automatic

    it should only start when you run the app now. 

    after an update you might wanna repeat this.
