Have you tried launching Samsung VR Videos, putting the headset into sleep mode and after putting it back on, using the volume button to skip past the 'Enter VR' dialogue? (I believe using this option requires developer mode to be enabled first) I have tried watching a 5 minute video and haven't encountered any warning whatsoever.
