Rift S or Quest 2 for development?

My original Rift is very outdated 😄 Looking at moving forward, would you get Rift S for dev, considering there are going to be a lot of people that still have them, or would you bite the bullet and move to Quest? How long before Meta decides to just change and leave all the devs behind again? Seems a bit unstable to use Meta?

    I would definitely go for the Quest 2 for development when buying a new device

    And your original rift is not really outdated, the Rift S is not a big improvement compared to it.

    I  own both - a Quest 2 and an original Rift, and certainly your development turn arround time will benefit from the quick way you are able to check things in VR when using the Rift. I cant imagine having to build&deploy constantly to the Quest  just for small checks and updates...

    Keep your Rift save and clean and buy a Quest 2: those 2 will become best buddies and greatly get along for development

    BTW: the Rift Software still receives updates  from time to time
