Trying to sell to customers but they can't use purchased VR devices.

I've had a customer contact me saying they purchased a Quest 2 device in order to purchase a game I made but Facebook disabled their new account. Oculus support says there is nothing they could do and they should return the device. Why should I continue to develop for this platform if new customers can't play on this platform?
