Unity's Lightweight Render Pipeline (LW RP) looks to be a huge deal for mobile VR.

Has anyone played with this, specifically for Gear VR/Oculus Go development? How does it compare to the existing workflows & tools in terms of ease of use, performance, etc.?

Sorry about the hassle again, but I just noticed that I also failed to put this in the correct category. May I request that this discussion be moved to either Mobile or Unity Development, whichever you find more fitting? - Anonymous@firagabird
Lightweight Scriptable Rendering Pipeline doesn't seem to be yet functionnal with 2018.1.0b13
I checked out with Oculus Utilities 1.24 and 1.25 and keep having a blackscreen with the template scene
The consoles displays a series of "OpenGL Native Plugin errors" at startup.
I'll give it a try when the official 2018.1 version will be out - firagabirdAdventurer@yrobertThanks for testing this firsthand! You should report it as a bug so that the Unity integration team is made aware of it and progress on its fix can be tracked publicly.
- binarieExplorerHas anyone tried the LWRP now that 2018.1 is an official release?
Is it likely to be fully supported soon? - binarieExplorerHas anyone tried the LWRP now that 2018.1 is an official release?
