virtual desktop + voicemeeter?

i cant get it to work, ive tried all the tutorials on youtube, and ive enabled voicemeeter mode on virtual desktop streamer but i cant get music playing through my microphone. i dont want to go back to quest link because its so bad, but i really want to get this to work. i got it to work once but there was a really bad echo. ive tried voicemeeter potato and banana, but neither of them work for me. i dont know what im doing wrong.

    Works for me. I fixed it. Make sure that your output is set to AUX, and the input to whatever your microphone is. I set my oculus mic to B1 so in windows options make sure you click B1. In the meta quest link itself in the desktop u gotta set it to windows default. :D
