What is the memory limit for the Meta Quest 2 app?
What is the memory limit for the Meta Quest 2 app? I tried increasing the memory to check. The app crashed at about 4GB. Is there an official memory limit?

Are you able to clarify on which app you are referring to or do you mean the headset itself, and do you mean RAM (Random Access memory) or do you mean the internal storage of the device.

I'm checking the memory usage of the app I'm developing. I think QUEST2's RAM (Random Access memory) is 6GB, but is there a limit to the amount of RAM that can be used by the app? Also, is there a recommended amount of RAM usage?
At least, when the test exceeded 4GB, the app I was developing crashed. Looking at this, it seems that there is no limit on RAM usage, and that the RAM that is left over after the OS and other uses of the Quest 2 are taken into account can be used, but is this correct?
What I want to know is how much RAM the app can use in Quest 2?
I was curious about this. While it's a shame there's no official meta response, it's good to see that from user testing it seems to be about 4GB, thanks for reporting this!
