Hey there! That's not what we want for our valued customers. We'd love to see what we can do to help you get past the verification page.

What trouble shooting you have done? Have you held the power button for 30 seconds to bring up the boot menu and select restart?

We have also provided you with a link from the developer section of the Oculus community forums to help you with any questions you may have as a developer HERE.

I'm having the same issue and there's very little to troubleshoot on our end here, the website just isn't working.

Hey, thank you for bringing this to our attention! We like to jump in and help out. What website are you referring to? You can use this link to the developer section of the forum, where you'll find more information.

I'm trying to go to https://developer.oculus.com/manage/organizations/create to create an organization so I can enable developer mode on my Quest 2. but whenever I go there it just automatically sends me to https://developer.oculus.com/manage/verify/ instead. I've already added 2 factor authentication with an App (google authenticator or something) cuz entering my phone number to get a text message didn't work (I just never got a text message)

if I go to my profile and check my security stuff https://auth.meta.com/settings/security/ it even says my 2 factor authentication is on but somehow that organization creation page ignores that or something and just keeps sending me to the verification page instead

Hey Zwenkwiel! We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with getting logged into the Developer space to create an organization. The looping issue you're running into with the 2 factor definitely sounds frustrating, so let's see what we can do to get that fixed. Can you reach out to us in a PM so we can gather some account information from you? You can do that by clicking our profile and selecting "Send Message".  Thanks!

  • MetaStoreHelp any updates on this? looks like we are all in the same boat.

When you add 2FA using an authenticator app, it will show that 2FA is "On". But.... when you go to log in after accepting an organization, it does not work and states 2FA is needed. In fact, you must go back and add a phone number as a 2FA, which the website doesn't tell you.

So, the problem is, you must have a phone number when an authenticator app should work just fine (and is likely, more secure than a phone number). For developers working on multiple headsets, using the phone number will not likely work well.  Your website does not tell you you MUST use a phone number, which is causing all of the issues in this thread.

To fix this issue, could you look at adjusting it so that an Authenticator App is more than enough to allow an organization to work? Thanks!

    Thanks!

  • I was facing the same problem.

Got it resolved after I made 2 changes:

Got out of VPN, and got out of private (incognito) window.

So log in to your dev account using a regular browser and without using VPN, and try again. Hope that works.
