360 Media PC Spec

Hi,

I was just wondering what PC spec is required to view 360 videos?

I recently built a pc to use mainly with the Oculus, but i can't view any of these 360 videos due to painfully low framerates.

PC Spec: i5-4690K, GTX 980 SC, 8GB Ram, Samsung Evo SSD.

Everything else works perfectly, do these videos need an i7 or something?

    That should be enough power. Maybe the app you are using is not properly optimized, or the videos are too large.

    I've tried: Total Cinema, VideoStitch and KolorEyes

    I was trying to watch Foreign Nature and From Nothing, which are rather high res videos

    If i play the videos in something like MPC-HC they are perfectly smooth.

    i just loaded up totalcinema360.com and the video that was playing completely locked up Waterfox!
    Tried some of the others and they all played the same as they do in the player, painfully slow and stuttery :?
