3D desktop (virtual display of different apps on HMD)

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to have a 3d desktop on oculus vr dk2. I would like to have two apps on 2 sides (3d desktop) while i can always have a certain display on front display always.

Ex-

When i use oculus; i would be able to see music player on the right; word files on the left but where i move my head; i can see a display as overlay (say email).

I am new to the forum, if this not the correct place to post, kindly advise to correct location.
