  • All you need to do is make sure 3D Vision is disabled in the nVidia control panel whenever you're going to use the Oculus Rift. I used DK1 on a laptop with 3D Vision and there were no problems, and I currently use DK2 on a desktop PC with 3D Vision with no problems.

If anything, having 3D Vision included is a good thing. My understanding is that 3D Vision is incompatible with Optimus, so having a 3D Vision-capable laptop means you don't need to worry about the problems some people have had with Optimus.

EDIT: Just to clarify, the 3D Vision/Optimus incompatibility means (at least in the case of my laptop) that they simply do not implement Optimus at all on 3D Vision-capable laptops. This means the nVidia GPU outputs directly to any attached displays instead of having to pass through an Intel GPU first.
