Access to sensor-fusion? Usage of OR inside motion-sim platform.
Hello,
were trying to use a rift inside a closed motion-simulator. So in short words, the room itself is moving around. Thus with all the gyro and accel sensors the OR thinks the user is moving and the room is standing still, resulting in some really really badass motion sickness after a few seconds.
As I heard, there is currently no way of accessing the sensor fusion? Which will render the rift useless. Is there really no one using VR as ist meant to be?

- YbalridExpert ProtegeHave you tried to mount the sensor camera on the moving platform? I'm curious of the results. (Looks like moving the camera moves the frame of reference of the tracking. A bit weird because IFAIK the accelerometer is used to detect the vertical "g" vector to have a reference point for the gyros...)
In the DK1 days we had access to the raw sensor data. Looking at the current OVR library it doesn't seem to be the case anymore... - thorargentHonored GuestI am curious about this- can you get it from the API or has it changed? I need this data for a project that I am doing now.
