Of course it is possible. It's just that doing that requires a bit of programming and graphics algorithms knowledge, and people in general, for some reason I can't fathom, abhor the idea of learning something new.
+1 for that !
I'm one of those lazy folk !
I should be studying/learning as suggested. I use 3dsMax with Unity. I designed my Castle in Max and exported the file into the Tuscany scene with no trouble at all. I needed to re-scale but that was all. The FBX that I imported into Unity was wonderful with textures quite perfect. All of my max objects work just great.
That's the way I am doing things at the moment..
But, by God, I feel like a cheat. I'd much rather do things as was suggested by nuclear.
To be able to script is my dream.
In fact the post by nuclear has now given me the incentive to learn and learn.
So thanks for that, nuclear.!!!
I actually have the DK2..Still in it's box !!!
I'm having so much fun with the DK1...and reading all the tales of woe in these Forums I had no incentive to break up my party.
But today I'll begin in earnest to get things up to date. :)
