All VR Video Players should have frame interpolation

my recommendation for any VR Video Player out there add frame interpolation from 24FPS movie to 75FPS (or higher CV1). I use this for my normal 2D TFT desktop player and it is fantastic from 24 FPS to 144FPS ( I have144Hz ) but in VR Video Player it is even more powerfull I guess

like this tool http://svp-team.com (works not with all files and all players, fine with win media player & mkv)

  • Below is a link to very good discussion by builders about the need of high framerates with big screens. As any interpolation adds immense latency, tracking needs to be generated on the base of the interpolated frame material. If you test the "Stereoscopic Player" with DK1, you will be able to add SVP support to it. As soon as DK2 support is added, you will be able to use DK2.
