Ambilight mod for the Rift

A subject of "Ambilight for the Rift" would be more meaningful for this thread :twisted:

The new samsung flexible amoled display would sort out the horizontal peripheral vision problem. Consumer version hopefully.

I've had my Rift for a couple weeks and the black border bothered me at first. There is a reason why scuba masks aren't black around the edges.

It doesn't bother me anymore, but I think this is a great idea that will get implemented in a consumer HMDs at some point.

no they cant have it, i hope oculus is patenting the living thing out everything because its just stupid

that ambilight thing could be such a sweet thing for the consumer rift :(
