Another viewer- Kolor Eyes Desktop
I tried this. Good thing About this viewer is - It creates a copy to RIFT display, so that a demonstrator can always see what the user is viewing and it is pretty straight forward( good for 360 stereo panorama only)

- I tried this one too. It works and is not over complicated. Drag and drop a vid file and watch. No head tracking available though.

head tracking is working for me. You have to plug-in the rift 1st then turn on the viewer- It is a really excellent viewer for 2d viewing -- with the alternative perspectives -- "little planet" etc. It would be great for 3d too if they just supported more formats eg. 180 3d equirectangular.
