Anyone know a good place to buy sound effects for a project?
Hello I am curious as to where I can find a good site for purchasing sound effects for a Horror / Mystery game? This my first time going at a project completely solo. I do have simple audio gear but I would be interested in purchasing sound effects rather than trying to produce all of them myself. Thank you in advance.

They have good deals if you know you're going to need a lot of them, say 50 or a 100 (and know what you need).
Make a shopping list first, though. - I found a few decent free clips (most loopable) at freesound.org. You'll have to pay attention to the licensing for each one though, but most of the time they just require attribution.

- What your looking for is stock sounds... some are royalty free, some are not. All sorts of sites out there that either charge or they don't... some with really good selections and sound clip libraries...
