Automatic latency test

Hello everybody, I'm a student in computer engineering and I'm doing my master thesis right now.

I'm trying to add a function in a unity application to make latency test automatically. By that, I mean to have the latency tester plugged on the Rift and make automatic latency test every X second (for example). I would like to know if it is possible to do it without pushing the button on the tester (I don't want to push the button 1000 times :D ).
