Best way to record 3D video for Oculus Rift?

What are currently the best known (affordable) ways for recording stereoscopic 3D content for the Oculus Rift (with or without head-tracking)?

If you have a iPhone 4 or newer, here's one affordable way: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/935366406/poppy-turn-your-iphone-into-a-3d-camera-0?ref=live

I'm guessing there's other ways, I just don't know what they are at this point. I've tried taking pictures with my phone from two positions (as if taking one picture for each eye), but there's always a little something moving in between both pictures. Poppy would literally take one picture to make a stereo image. Very excited to go on trips with it and then view the resulting pictures and videos in a VR slideshow or gallery of some sort. Knowing that I won't just immediately forget what it was like to be there actually makes travel more enticing. :D

Probably dual GoPro (or similar) cameras setup in a rig. You want small cameras in order to simulate a realistic IPD as well as have a wide angle field of view for playing back in the Rift.
