Black colours smearing related to firmware?
Just upgraded to 2.11 of the firmware today, after a few days running 2.10.
Was just in Elite Dangerous and now the blacks are acting strange, including smearing when moving my head, it makes it look ugly and is frustrating.
When I was using 2.10 none of this black smearing was evident.
If there is a way to go back to 2.10 on the firmware I would do it this instant. Wish I never upgraded to 2.11 now.
Firmware 2.11 needs some work.

- hargabyteHonored Guesthaha the black smear was there before. Its been an issue since the DK2 came out. It looks like there is a fix in the new SDK but Frontier needs to update the game. We are still on .3 SDK
- mpaul0055Honored GuestIt definitely seems to be an SDK issue, and is documented quite a lot in the following posts.

Its really holding back my release of Affected for DK2 as the majority of all my levels are very dark.
If you increase the Rifts brightness on your graphics card you can get rid of the problem, but its only a temporary fix as it brings in other issues.
Fingers crossed this is fixed in the next SDK.
