Black/grey screen in oculus app
I bought my oculus rift s today but unfortunately I couldn’t play anything on it because of the problem with the app that shows me a blank screen after choosing a profile picture hoping that they fix it ASAP.
please if you find a solution help me 🚶🏻:male_sign:

I have the exact same problem. Really annoyed that I took a chance on VR and got a $300 paperweight.

I am trying an older install from my friend in case an update has happened since I'm assuming we have all done a fresh download. Let me know if you find something that works before this.

Hey good morning,
we found a workaround yesterday already and it works perfectly.
The issue seems to be with the new users registration only. So what we do is - we replace the new app data with the old one - go on with the setup process and replace the old data back again with the new one and thats it. See the topic below.

I have the same issue. I bought the Quest 2 one week ago. I have loaded the app and paired this with my facebook account, my WLAN, activated Bluetooth etc. . Then I tried the headset - which has been connected as also teh controller - but after a 2-3 seconds of the "O"-Logo from OCULUS only black screen. I have deinstalled everything and reinstalled it again. I have reset on the factory conditions etc. NOTHING. Just Disappointing.
