Can I Develop on oculus touch without buying an oculus rift

I am making a game where you use the touch's 3D coordinates to control a gun. My game does not require the headset and just the controller. Is it possible to get the 3D coordinates of the touch controller without buying the headset, and just buying the touch and 2 sensors?

    The touch controllers send their data via the headset so you wont be able to use them on their own.

    The closest you could get would be something like the Razer Hydra.  It was discontinued a long time ago, but you might find one on ebay or somewhere. There's another one that I can't remember the name of.

    It's possible to use Touch without a headset being worn, but as MikeF says the actual receiver for the Touch wireless is built into the headset, so it must be connected (it's not a standard bluetooth or wifi signal).
