- lmaceleightonHonored GuestThe only thing that might cause a problem is just the mobile GPU, sometimes those are generally not as good as their desktop counterparts, and they are not supported for some games, even though they technically meet the requirements. These things are not Oculus's fault. However your laptop 'should' be fine as long as you can get 60FPS things should be smooth. South of that things gets a bit choppy...
- Jarn97Honored GuestHow do I verify my fps in my laptop.
- lmaceleightonHonored GuestWell you have an Nvidia so you can use this: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/geforce-experience-2-1-released , beware it is new, and I have never used it having always bought mostly AMD products(they seems to last WAY longer). You could also use FRAPS just disable the recording and you should still be able to use the FPS counter.

Firstly, this is the Input Devices forum. You should be posting this in Oculus General Discussion.
But forum-nazi gripe aside, you could have easily discovered the answer to this yourself by doing a search or two.
However, here's a post I made about laptop graphics requirements/what to expect with your DK2. Czech it out. :D

Specifically, note that someone with a 560M seems to have little difficulties running most demos on his DK2. It's not going to be ideal, but I think your 860M will be just fine. - ufukalanHonored Guestmaybe you can test it and share the result.
- mptpExplorerTwo months later, and that's all you had to say?!
Although since you've revived the thread, I can say that I recently received my DK2 and am running it on a laptop with a 6990M in it (which is probably slightly less powered than the 860M, or perhaps comparable), and a far older i7 running at 2.2GHz, with 8GB of ram. I have no difficulties running most demos. Many need to have the graphical settings turned down to run nicely, and the very hardcore ones or poorly optimised ones are unplayable. I would say I have no difficulties 85-90% of the time. - flawExploreri may be a bit late to the thread but i'd say you probably could run your rift on it! :D
