Can Project Spark-like Program Optimize Casual VR?
So I recently saw the Project Spark Intro clip again:
It has the option as can be seen at 0:22 to create environments simply. The Spark program already includes all the coding to build everything, what the user changes is the layout through basic controls. I know when I first started imagining Virtual Reality, I always thought I would be able to go to a room set aside for me and customize it to the way I want it.
Would a program like Project Spark help make VR more casual in that people could build their own room (whether a PC Desktop visualized, or a public meetingplace)?

You can do that now in Minecrift. :)
An interesting market segment would be The Sims players. There's millions of them. Imagine a Sims style game where you can play from first person. House customising, make your own family and neighbors that interact with you and go about their daily lives.
To really rake in the cash, get some licensed content like Twilight characters or Justin Bieber or something.

What I was talking about is to have a custom room or meeting place. So let's say that you log into your computer and from there you can customize a house representing your computer. You can have friends over (chat), check the mailbox (email or private messaging), or whatever. That being said, you could also just make a large lake and live underwater.
Is there something with the "realism" like sims (not being rounded and cartoonish like the Project Spark video shows), where you can build your own environment, and dictate most of the terms (like if you "install" a lamp, you can customize the size, brightness, color, etc)?
So once you program your "home" or desktop, you could have friends over to see it (like animal crossing and i guess minecraft?), but it would be meant for casual computer use, rather than using it as a specific game that you created the scene in.
Does that make sense? - That sounds a lot like Second Life. Not a game, just an environment for talking to people, building custom houses, customising yourself, etc. Oh, and porn, which is probably what 90% of users are on there for.
