cancelling oculus rift order?

is it possible to cancel the rift order, since mine is quite far from being delivered and I did not realise the extra costs it is going to be such as VAT and duty costs?

I no longer want the rift but im not sure if I can cancel the order or not? I did pre-order it not back kickstarter
