congratulations you alone are ..

the only thing on my entire machine that does NOT work on windows 10.

All other hardware works

All other software works

The most annoying thing about it is knowing that windows 10 had a beta program running since last year! You have absolutely no excuse what so ever for not having a driver ready.

Hardware that doesnt work is .. you know .. useless. With all the smart people who work for oculus you would think they would have managed to rub two brain cells together and realize not having a driver ready is going to affect heaps of people in a negative way.

Im being very nasty , Im know -forgive me but im not very happy because my rift is not working and only got the thing not to long ago.

Give me a working windows 10 sdk / driver whatever and I will be a happy guy and write a post about butterflies rianbows and ponies , I promise ;)

  • I'm sure the Oculus team are sweating butterflies, rainbows and ponies trying to bring us a sickness free judder less experience. Sounds challenging to work with AMD.NVidia and Microsoft to pull this off.
  • All good people ;) I was just letting of some steam , I do believe it of great concern to them , I hope they get it all sorted out :geek:

We only have to wait a few hours, we'll have W10 support tomorrow

Games that use Securom or SafeDisc don't work on Windows 10.

AMD failed to have 32 bit drivers ready for Windows 10. Nvidia failed to have Fermi drivers ready.
  • No, Fermi Drivers are ready, they just dont support DirectX12, but the card has no DX12 featurelevel anyways.
  • Specifically, Fermi WDDM 2.0 drivers were delayed and missed the Win 10 release, only older 1.3 drivers are available.

I was speaking about my personal experience obviously , I did say on my machine ;) Nvidia had a launch day patch for my gtx970 other than that I have no problems playing any games I have - uplay , origin , steam .. all work.

    Yes, I know.

I'm just pointing out that not everything is perfect on windows 10, despite the numerous posts recently on here from people acting like Oculus is the only company having issues.
