creating a 3d rendering
I'm looking to get into Oculus development, I wanted to see if someone could help me connect some dots.
I'm starting to look over the documentation and guides, but I'm hoping someone could give me a general walk through.
I'm looking to create a 3D rendering that can be interacted with. To start, I am looking to just use an existing 3D object that's floating around online. But how do I take a .obj file and get it into the Oculus? If someone could give me an overview of those steps I'd appreciate it. I'm a developer that's new to the Oculus and I just need some help getting pointed int he right direction!!

- JohnnyChaosHonored GuestYou'd need a game engine to be able to move round it.
The easiest way=
Download the free version of unity.
Open the free oculus demo from the latest sdk as a new project.
Import your 3D model.
Unreal engine 4 is nice as well, but it's more complex when it comes to importing 3D models - lmaceleightonHonored GuestI prefer Unreal, as the price is awesome, and it is a very easy process to use the rift.
