Crescent Bay's 'expanded' positional tracking volume?
Hi,
I read an article that says the new Crescent Bay prototype has an 'expanded positional tracking volume.' Is there any specific value for the size of the volume announced? And, is the method to position user's head same as DK2 (using a single IR camera placed in front of the user)?
Thanks,

- DerntHonored GuestYou can look up videos of it on youtube. The expanded positional tracking volume seems to be monitored by a single IR camera which captures whole body volume so you can freely move around without walking. The 360 tracking is a feature possible by IR LED in the back of the headstrap.

However, I think it's safe to say that it is a good improvement over DK2, especially in terms of turning 360 degrees (thanks to LEDs on the back of the headset).
